We are often focused entirely on progress. On growth and bigger earnings. On the next project.

There is probably nothing wrong with that, if we look at it from at sociologigal sustainability standpoint.

We need financial growth in some way if we want to have a sustainable healthcare system, a social support system, work opportunities for most, and to support the many companies, and organizations, national and international alike.

We live in a constant pursuit of progress !

If you go to the gym, you're probably expecting to get some kind of result out of your efforts. If you do not see any bodily changes over time, or you can't add more plates on the bar, or do more reps if that's what you fancy, you slowly but surely will loose interest and motivation over time.

But in our obsession with time, and schedules, and progress, we often forget what is important to us. We simply do not allow our brain the necessary time and calm to think. To feel. To allow our consciousness to connect to our intellect.

And because we are in such a hurry, we do not even notice the obvious signs our body communicate back to us.

If the brain can't see any meaning in allocating resources for a project that does not result in the expected outcome, it will make you stop doing what you are doing. That is a fact.

Discomfort is a long lost language of awareness.

We are in such a hurry that we do not have time for discomfort.

Time for connecting.

If something hurts we want something or someone to fix it as fast as possible, so we can return to our busyness in a hurry.

We ignore the responsibility we have for taking care of ourselves.

But one thing is certain, if you do not have time for taking care of slow, life will slow you down eventually.

Making sure that you get the message.

You have to find time. Time won't find you ! - At least not until there is no time left.
