Fear makes us vulnerable. It distort everything around us, and makes us constantly alert.

Fear of what might happened has its roots in our evolutionary survival tactics. Whenever we experience any kind of danger, it is in our own interest to remember the event so we are better prepared next time we encounter a similar event.

So if the purpose of fear is to protect us, how can we use it so it does not amputate and blunt our proactivity ?

If we instead can have faith in ourselves, and comfort our soul that no matter what happens, we will figure it out eventually , our nervous system will regulate itself and calm us down. We will never be sure or certain about how the events of life unfolds, but we can practice the concept of fear "keeps me alive", but it should not be my guide. Sometimes we need to walk towards things that scares us, for us to be able to breakthrough stagnation and pursue personal growth.
